Welcoming a New Season: Celebrating Marissa & Molly as they step into motherhood
At Rêve, we’re always talking about seasons—of strength, of growth, of becoming. And right now, two of our own are stepping into one of the most meaningful season of all.
As Marissa and Molly head into maternity leave, we’re holding so much love and excitement for them. This chapter is slower, softer, and full of firsts. It’s a shift from leading the room to nurturing something even deeper—and we couldn’t be more honored to witness it.
Before they head into this new rhythm, we sat down with Marissa and Molly who shared a few of the moments they’re already dreaming about…
What’s one little moment you’re already daydreaming about once your baby is here?
MW: Slow mornings together and reading her all the books. When she’s old enough, I can’t wait to read her the whole Harry Potter series 🤍
MT: I keep picturing slow mornings, like being up early with the baby, the house still quiet, coffee in hand, and just sitting together while they’re curled up on me. Nothing big or planned, just those simple, steady moments where everything feels calm and a little suspended. I also keep thinking about watching my husband with our baby. He’s been the best and I know he’s going to be an incredible dad. I can’t wait to just be in that little bubble together as a family, and figuring out this new adventure together.
What part of maternity leave are you secretly the most excited for—baby snuggles, no alarms, or an excuse to binge a show guilt-free?
MW: Baby snuggles for the win! I’m also really looking forward to going with the flow each day and soaking in our amazing Maine summer with our little one.
MT: Honestly… the permission to slow down. My life has been so structured and full for so long, and I think I’m most excited to just be in a different rhythm, where the only real agenda is taking care of the baby and myself. The snuggles are a given, but it’s that shift in pace that feels really special.
If your baby had a personality based on your pregnancy so far, what would they be like?
MW: I joke in my classes, but this girl will come out doing burpees and jump lunges—she is so active!
MT: Easygoing overall, but active and aware. Already moving a lot, clearly soothed by their dad’s voice, and developing some early opinions… especially when it comes to music!
