Meet Our Newest Cycling Instructor: Meg Perry
We're thrilled to introduce our newest cycling instructor, Meg Perry! You might recognize Meg from the front desk, and now we’re excited to welcome her to the podium. Recently, we caught up with Meg to chat about all things Rêve and where you can find her outside the studio.
Where did you grow up?
Growing up in Gorham, Maine, I’ve always had a strong connection to my hometown. I spent my entire educational journey here, from kindergarten all the way through college, and I’m still happily rooted in Gorham today. But little did I know that an assignment in college would lead me to one of the most transformative experiences of my life—discovering Rêve Cycling Studio.
What first brought you to Rêve?
While studying Social Behavioral Sciences & Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling in college, I was given an assignment to explore something that could be used as therapy. I turned to the internet, searching for a yoga studio, and stumbled upon Rêve. Excited to try something new, I signed up for a class. But 15 minutes into Amber H.’s Tone and Trim, I realized I wasn’t in a yoga class! Despite the surprise, I loved every minute of it and decided to come back for a spin class. From that moment, I was hooked—and I’ve never looked back!
How would you describe your class?
If you’ve ever stepped into one of my classes, you’ll know they’re high-energy, filled with a mix of hip-hop, rock, and upbeat tunes that get everyone moving. I’m passionate about sharing my energy with every rider, creating a space where we can all have fun and push ourselves together.
Where can we find you outside of the studio?
Outside the studio, I have a bit of a shopping addiction—buying lip gloss is my guilty pleasure! But beyond that, I’m diving into a new adventure by starting school at SpaTech for aesthetics. It’s going to be a busy time, but I’m excited about the journey ahead. I also coach volleyball, work at a summer rec camp, and when I need to unwind, I can’t resist a good reality TV show.
What’s something you love about Rêve?
One of my absolute favorite things about Rêve is the incredible community. From the moment I started as a rider, I felt welcomed and supported. When I began working at the front desk last October, I made it my mission to be a bright spot in someone’s day. The relationships I’ve formed and the smiles I see every day keep me energized and excited to be part of this amazing space.
We have to know, what are you currently listening to?
And if you’re wondering what’s currently on my playlist, my favorite songs change daily, but you can always count on hearing some Justin Bieber and Drake in my classes. Right now, I’m loving "One Time" by Justin Bieber and "Child’s Play" by Drake.
Anything else you would like to add?
I’m so grateful to be part of the Rêve family, and I can’t wait to see you in class!
