Welcoming Amelia: Our Studio Manager!

In the midst of the challenges that 2020 brought, a beacon of light emerged for many seeking solace and community – Rêve. Introduced by a dear friend and longtime rider, Kate, Rêve quickly became more than just a cycling studio for Amelia; it became a sanctuary for connection and movement during a time when the world seemed to stand still.

Amelia's first encounter with Rêve was through a free L.L.Bean class taught by Instructor, Meg Savino. Picture this – bikes neatly spaced out on the green, hula-hoops creating a safe bubble around them. In a world where isolation was the norm, Rêve gave its riders a chance to celebrate the spirit of community through the joy of movement.

When she's not in the saddle at Rêve, you'll find Amelia literally in the saddle at Great Heights Stable, taking her collie Rangeley for walks in the serene woods or along the sandy beaches of southern Maine. And of course, her quest for the perfect latte is an ongoing adventure, exploring the vibrant coffee culture in the area. Scales in the Old Port holds a special place in Amelia's heart, not just for their amazing seafood but also for their life-changing Butterscotch Sundae. As a food enthusiast, she appreciates the flavors that bring people together, much like the sense of unity fostered at Rêve.

Originally from the charmingly small town of Carthage, ME, Amelia made the move to Saco in 2019 after tying the knot with her wonderful husband. Living close to both the beaches and urban life has been a perfect blend, offering the best of both worlds.

In her pursuit of the ideal playlist, there's one track missing from the Rêve class soundtrack – "Perfect Day" by Hoku. Perhaps a subtle hint for the playlist curators to add this uplifting tune to the mix? :)

Now, Amelia is thrilled and honored to officially join the Rêve community in a professional role as the new studio manager. The opportunity to connect with each rider on a deeper level and witness the unique beauty that each individual brings to the community is one that she treasures.

She invites everyone to reach out, whether it's to ask questions or simply to introduce themselves. As the Rêve community embarks on this new chapter together, Amelia is grateful for the chance to get to know each rider as their authentic, beautiful selves. Welcome to the Rêve team, Amelia!
