Why We Rêve: Celebrating our Woman-Owned Business for National Women’s Month

For those who don’t know, here at Rêve we’re a proud woman owned and run business! This month, we’re celebrating all of the amazing women who ride at Rêve, teach at Rêve and work at Rêve. Four of our fantastic instructors explain what it means to be part of a female-owned business.

Lauren Magnuson – Rêve Instructor

“ Being a part of a female owned business is empowering! On top of that we are so lucky at Rêve to have a strong team of women who are both successful and generous with their time, energy and knowledge.”

Marissa Roberts – Rêve Instructor

“Being a part of a women owned business is inspiring and rewarding. I truly appreciate having a space where I have the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally at a women-owned business like Rêve Cycling Studio. It makes me look forward to going to work - I could not be more proud to represent the Rêve Cycling Studio.”

Redyn MacDuff – Rêve Instructor

“There are so many reasons why I love working for and being part of Rêve as a female-owned business here in Portland. The community and overall vibe of Rêve encompasses and fosters an environment that is always inspiring, inclusive, and purposeful. Rêve is collaborative and supportive within the studio and its surrounding community and I know the impact and intention stems from Stephanie Jackson’s (owner and founder of Rêve) vision and hard work. It’s not an easy feat to run a business while wearing so many other hats - mom of three! - but it’s the passion and drive that has built Rêve and keeps its instructors and members coming back each day.”

Amanda Carson – Rêve Instructor

“Being a part of a female owned business is important to me because it helps me to connect with so many women in an empowering and like-minded way. Of course we are different from one another, but our shared experience is helpful. I also feel that because we have all experienced challenges in our own ways, both in and out of work spaces, we are mindful about the importance of intersectionality in business and fitness, and making sure everyone feels heard and valued. It is important to be strong allies to everyone who walks through our doors and leads by example.”

Thank you so much for being part of our women-owned business! Share with us on social media what you love about Rêve & we’ll see you at the studio, team!
